A unit of the Red Cross started functioning in the College in 1976-77. It is affiliated to the INDIAN RED CROSS SOCIETY, Orissa State Branch, Bhubaneswar . The objectives of Red Cross are:

1) Promotion of hygiene and good health.

2) Service to the sick and the suffering

3) Promotion of international friendliness etc.

The membership is open to all students. The students who have not taken N.C.C. or N.S.S. can enroll themselves
