A candidate for Bachelor Degree in Arts/Science/ Commerce . shall be required to pass the following examinations :
i. First Year Examination
ii. Second Year Examination
iii. Final Year Examination
Each of,the above examinations shall have Internal Assessment and Term-end components
2. Interned Assessment Examination:
There shall be two Internal Assessment Examinations to the extent of 20% of total marks in each paper of a class per Academic Year and the higher mark of the two shall be .taken
for computation of final results.
.Non appearance at any of the Internal Assessment Exam. Non-appearance for a paper shall be treated as securing Zero in that paper. There shall be no back paper in Internal Assessment.
There shall be no Internal Assessment Exam. for Practical Papers.
3. Term End Examination:
There shall be a Term-end Examination towards the end of each academic year to the extent of 80% of total marks in each paper. (excluding practical papers)
4. The overall result in a paper excluding practical papers. shall be computed basing on the total marks obtained in the Internal Assessment and Term-end Examinations taken together.
Examinations
5. Back Paper clearance:
A candidate failing to secure a minimum of 30% of marks in any subject with non practical componeht, a minimum of 30% of marks in Theory papers taken together and/or a minimum of 40% of marks in any practical paper of a subject with practical component. a minimum of 36% of marks in aggregate, or a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate, or a minimum of 45% of marks in Honours Subject either in First, Second or Final year examination may be allowed to appear in those subjects in not more than two chances (examinations) immediately following that examination for which he was first registered to clear the back paper (s) on payment of prescribed fees.
This provision does not extend to internal Assessment exams. '
6. P.G. Examinations
A candidate for Masters (Post Graduate) degree in a subject shali be required to pass the following examinations
a) PG. Part-I Examination
b) PG. Part-II Examination
Each of the above examinations shall have internal Assessment and Term-end Components.
7. A candidate shall be eligible to appear at the second year and Final Year Examinations only if he/she has registered for the First Year and Second Year Examinations respectively. However, his/her Final result shall not be published unless he/she has passed all the three examinations.
8. Attendance:
A student must have a minimum of 75% of attendance in each subject for theory, practical and seminar classes separately in each academic year to be eligible to appear in
the Test/Term-end Examination.
However, the Principal may condone attendance to the extent of 15% in exceptional cases on ground of illness on production of supporting documents
All matters relating to examinations shall be guided by the "Examination Regulations" of the College.
